Barrow Of Immortality

Memorial "Barrow of Immortality" in the village Bykovka Kireyevsky Districtbuilt in honor of the 30th anniversary of victory over Nazi Germany 

in World War II. Barrow of Immortality - made in the form of a hill 16 meters in height, at the top of his towering 6-foot triangular steel spire. On the concrete pedestal at the mound set two 76-mm artillery gun. Along the alley leading to the mound, located memorial obelisk units and formations of the 50th Army and the first riders of the Guards Corps, participated in the liberation Kireyevski area from the Nazi invaders. There are five common graves where buried about five thousand soldiers who died 18.11.1941. In front of the mound eternal flame burns. To the left of the eternal flame 
a monument to a woman - mother, she kneels, on the right - a monument to the soldier. In front frontal stele Mound, covered image of the Order of the Red Star, walled Book of Fame and an appeal to the descendants, on the side of the central alley walled metal vials with earth brought from the hero-cities.
