BC109 trail West Fork Dry Canyon 4 Wheeling at the Notches
California
The lower wash and West Dry Canyon is a nice places where stock rigs can have fun without getting damage. But the further you travel up the harder it gets, but there are bypasses around many of the hard places like here at the notches, . Expect a good mix of different sized rocks, mud, water, and trees/branches/roots washed down during flash floods. This really isn't a trail in the context that most trails are roads. This is a wash that runs through a canyon and has never been a road, so things change drastically The last half of the canyon is the Chumash Wilderness Border. If you want to take your vehicle into some of the small off-shoot canyons, please do so only to the West, otherwise you'll be going into the designated wilderness. This is a narrow canyon. If rain is in the forecast, I would not recommend going into the main wash, nor it's smaller canyon. Be safe, and come back another day!
