Bielsko-Biala, Cable car to Szyndzielnia

Operating since December 1953, it is the first after-war cable car in Poland, the second in general (after the Kasprowy Wierch cable car). The Austrian “Bruder Girak” company prepared the documentation, provided supports with accessories, complete mechanical and electronic equipment, cars and cables, and supervised the entire project. In the winter of 1994/1995, the cableway was thoroughly modernised, also by the “Bruder Girak” company.

Length of the route: 1846 m.
Height difference 449.13 m
Duration: 6.05 min
