The main asset of our region - of course, the famous Blue Cambrian clay lontovasskoy suite. In the city of Nikolskoye, in the north adjacent to the SPP, is made of clay mining from open pits. One pit is already developed, and the other being actively developed. Here are the major factories in the Leningrad region for processing of blue clay. Manufacture of clay: the construction, lining and furnace bricks, tiles, Keramzit. The plant Lenstroykeramika, moreover, produce powder and granular clay, which is used for masonry stoves and sculptural endeavor. Available here for the soft clay modeling with the addition of water in the vacuum package.


Cambrian clays have unique healing properties. Clay sold in pharmacies in different packaging for the 100, 200, 300, and so an entire book devoted to this clay folk tselitelnitsa Valentine blade.
