Bojinac
Croatia

Bojinac is the area on Velebit mountain lot of picturesque stone cliffs. Because of the multitude of different morphological forms on the small area, the boundaries of the Paklenica national park are extended to Bojinac in 1977. The highest of these cliffs is Bojin Kuk (1100m) which offers a nice view of the valleys Malo Rujno and Veliko Rujno and also of the sea and nearby islands. From the top we can see the highest peaks of Velebit mountain. There are marked trails to the top from the coast and from Veliko Rujno. Climb to the top of Bojin Kuk is difficult since it leads through the steep cliffs but it is secured with the steel cable. Bojin Kuk with its smooth cliffs is also attractive goal for climbers, especially its north face which even has some overhanging sections.
