Canfranc is a small village located at the Spanish-French Borderline, Pyrennes Mountains, Huesca province, Aragon. Though Canfranc is not a big town, is well known due to the role that the International Railway Station played during World War II. A Thousand jews or more used this train Station to escape away from Germany. The most famous couple was the jew, Jean Lion, accompanied by his wife, the famous North American singer, Josephine Baker. Nowadays, the International Station is not in use. The Government of Aragón, with the support of some departments of South France are refurbishing the Station trying to reopen the railway traffic between Spain & France
