Cave church
The cave church of Santa María de Valverde, in the municipality of Valderredible (Cantabria, Spain), was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest on March 14, 1985. Next to the church stands the "Centro de Interpretación de la Arquitectura Rupestre ", dependent on the Government of Cantabria. It is still open for worship and is one of the best preserved cave churches in Cantabria.
