Chongqing Laojundong located at Nanan area in east of new street on approximately 2 kilometers mountains, is one of Mt. Nan scenic spot scenic spots. Laojundong builds in the Tang Dynasty, the old name Guanghua temple, is the Buddhist temple, the bright Wanli nine years (in 1581) changed the Daoist temple, “the primal chaos palace” (popular name “Laojundong”). Scavenges the light, Tongzhi, the Guangxu Dynasty several to pass through repairs the extension, builds the palace successively nine heavily, said: The Taoist trinity palace, the civil and military palace, the Goddess of Mercy palace, Lu Zudian, the god of the north palace, three abundant palaces, Qiu Zudian, fights the palace, the Jade Emperor palace. Various palaces structure is exquisite, according to Shan Zaodian, chisels the cliff image formation. In the Laojundong Daoist temple the multi-cliffs engrave the Buddha story image, most to have the artistic value by the Kowloon tablet and eight difficult crag two carved stone relief.
