Church of St. Vid above Verige Strait
Montenegro

The Vrmac mountain is a peninsula which separates Tivat Bay and Kotor Bay. Veriga Strait is at the tip of the peninsula, between the two bays. Above this tip, at 440 m above sea level was built Church of St. Vid in the 9th century. It was the parish church of the nearby mountain village, Gornja Lastva.
