Drogenapstoren, city gate in Zutphen
Netherlands

The Drogenapstoren is one of the old city gates in the defensive walls surrounding the old city of Zutphen. It was originally known as the Saltpoort, but after it was closed, it was called after Tonis Drogenap, the town's trumpeter. It is now a residence. To the left of the gate, you can see the tower of the Sint Walburgiskerk and, behind you, the court on the vispoortgracht. To the right of the gate in this panorama stands a statue of Tonis Drogenap.
