Eikerapen Roots Festival 2011 2
Norway

Eikerapen is a small mountain-village in the south of Norway (Åseral, Vest-Agder), about a one hour drive north of Kristiansand. Population: 7 (+ a dog). Altitude 369 meters. We think we are the smallest mountain village in the world who has its own festival. Take a bet?

The Eikerapen Roots Festival is a annual music festival taking place during the first week of August. Good music, unique venues surrounded by powerful nature and a friendly atmosphere, makes it something genuine and special… We admit that we have some odds against us. Eikerapen is about as small and remote as it gets. But we love the place and want to share the experience with friendly people all over the world. Welcome to the mountains!
