Elizabeth Esplanade / Esplanada Elisabeta din Iași
Elizabeth Esplanade / Esplanada Elisabeta din Iași is a set of curved and paired stairs descending from the bottom of Copou hill. Construction began in 1898 with completion in 1902. This area is known as 'Yellow Hill' (Râpa Galbenă) for the yellow clay soil that was used by pottery makes in the past. Reconstructed in 2007, it's both useful and attractive with many families, teens, and couples hanging out here.
