Finham Brook at Kenilworth, Warwickshire
England

The Finham Brook is a lower tributary of the River Sowe. Its course takes it close to Kenilworth Castle. In the 13th century it was dammed to create a lake-size moat around the castle. On the orders of Oliver Cromwell, the moat was drained when the castle was slighted after the English Civil War.
