Great Synagogue / Sinagoga Mare din Iași / Monument to the Victims of Iasi Pogrom
One of 110 Synagogues before the Holocaust, it is the only survivor of the Holocaust and one of two Synagogues now in Iasi. It is also the oldest surviving Synagogue in all of Romania. Built in 1671 and on the National Register of Historic places, it consists of two wings with round arched windows. On the grounds (in the 360 foreground) is the Monument to the Victims of the Iasi Pogrom.
