The Heroedes monument
Greece

This place in Naousa is called Stubani and it is the heroedes monument of the town. From this place women and children threw themselves into the waterfalls of the river Arapitsa not to be caught by Mehmed Emin Ebu Lubut Pasha on April 1822.
