Above Square Tower at Hovenweep
Utah
Three ancestral Puebloan (Anasazi) structures are seen here at the head of Little Ruins canyon. Hovenweep Castle is on the left, Square Tower below, and Hovenweep House opposite. The inhabitants of these villages farmed on the flat mesa surface and utilized springs in the alcoves below the rim.
