毛泽东广场：
1、毛泽东广场原名毛泽东同志铜像广场，建于1993年。2008年7月对广场进行改扩建，并正式定名“毛泽东广场”。
2、毛泽东广场面积102800平方米。其中，瞻仰区1500平方米，纪念区1700平方米，集会区6300平方米，休闲区93300平方米（含瞻仰大道面积：长183m×宽12.26m=2244m²，农田面积20亩）。
3、广场上毛泽东铜像重3.7吨，像高6米，基座高4.1米，通高10.1米，象征着“10•1”国庆，更象征着毛泽东是新中国的缔造者。铜像朝向为东偏北51.5度，背靠韶峰，面向毛泽东同志故居。主席身着中山装，左胸佩戴“主席”证，手持文稿，目光炯炯，面带微笑，正视前方，巍然挺立，再现了毛泽东出席开国大典时的风采。
4、毛泽东铜像由著名雕塑大师、中国美术馆馆长刘开渠和国家一级美术师程云贤设计，南京晨光机器厂铸造。
5、每天前来瞻仰毛泽东铜像的人络绎不绝，人们自发地向伟人深深鞠躬、献上花篮或鲜花，静静地绕铜像一周。一些单位还在此举行献花和入党宣誓仪式。
