Johanneskirche Weinsberg
Baden-Wuerttemberg

The Protestant Church in John Weinberg, an early 13th Century Romanesque basilica was built, the church of the Evangelical church vineyard. Until the Reformation, the church served not only as John Weinberger parish church, but was also the main church of 1291 was first mentioned in chapter vineyard land of the diocese of Würzburg. Since the introduction of the Reformation, it is the main church of the evangelical church vineyard district the Württemberg church (with an interruption from 1586 to 1710, when there was no church district Weinberg). The St. John's Church is a cultural monument of special importance.
