Kleiner Sauofen (1830 m)

The Kleine Sauofen (1830 m) is a peak in the Saualpe mountain range in Carinthia, Austria.

The Saualpe is a fragment of the ancient continent of Gondwana, which dominated the southern hemisphere of the Earth some 600 million years ago. When the Alps began to unfold around 130 million years ago, this fragment was “built into” the mountain range that was forming.
