Krasiczyn Park

The beauty of a monumental,14 - hectare park is overwhelming. It has two ponds, called upper - a bigger one with a small island and lower, which is almost next to the castle. Alleys running through the whole park and intersecting each other are full of rare and unique species of shrubs and flowers. Suffice it to say, that most of them can solely be found in this extraordinary place. As we go further into the park we may notice a difference in compositions between the south and the north parts of it. Both look somewhat wild, however a lower pond area, cut by the line of a stone bridge, creates a mirror of the western elevation of the castle. This is where the oldest oak in the park grows, according to some legends 200 years of age. Apart from that, there are many other reasons for which this really special place is worth seeing.
