Chatelherault House
Scotland

The Duke Of Hamilton comissioned architect, William Adam, to design Chatelherault House as a hunting lodge and summer house.

Built 250 years ago, it is set on a hilltop site just south of Hamilton.

The grounds of Chatelherault are now a country park and the Kennels for the Duke's hunting dogs have been converted into a modern visitor centre, shop, cafe, display gallery, and contains exhibitions on the area's history and wildlife, and the story of Chatelherault itself.
