The Limahuli National Botanical Garden on the north shore of Kauai. This tropical garden exhibits the history of Hawaii through it's plants. Polynesians (expert navigators) brought many of the typical Hawaiian plants from Polynesia and South America. There are also endemic Hawaiian plants preserved in the garden including one with only 6 known specimens and many which no living person can remember the name or use of.
