由鵝鑾鼻沿台26線北行，可以見到一片廣濶的草生地濱臨浩瀚的太平洋，這就是龍磐公園，這個區域是上升的石灰岩台地，石灰岩容易被水溶蝕，因此區內有崩崖、滲穴、石灰岩洞、紅土等地形景觀。夏天時綠草如茵，繁花似錦，並時時可見到垂直升降的小雲鳴唱迎賓曲，令人心曠神怡。徜徉在遼濶的草原上，可遠眺曲折有緻的海岸，陡峭的崩崖，此外日出絢的彩霞，以及夜冕耀眼的星空，更是久居都市的您，難得見到。
