If you want to see the highest twin falls in New York State, then you've come to the right place. Kaaterskill Falls, just southeast of Haines Falls, NY along Route 23A, are a sight to see. With two waterfalls cascading over cliffs and rocks, it is spectacular.

This lower level is far more accesible than the upper level and offers many places to explore the stream and surrounding forest.

Oh, and did you notice the person working their way across the wires above the falls? Now THAT would be a great spot for a photo!
