Sunset from Mt No. 3
Victoria

At 1560m altitude mt No. 3 provides a perfect view west towards Mansfield and the twin Peaks of The Paps.

The summit survived the ravages of recent bushfires and the ancient snow gums are beautiful to behold.

A snow grass plain provides the perfect spot to camp or a picnic.

Snowbound in winter, in summer 4wd tracks lead to this less frquented part of the Mt Stirling area.

A refuge hut is located some 2kms to the East
