Nelson Mandela Exhibition at the Capture Site

A museum complex has been setup near the spot where Nelson Mandela was captured and arrested in 1962, a short distance outside of Howick in the Natal Midlands. It is known as The Capture Site.

A temporary exhibition tells Nelson Mandela's life story, from his childhood to his presidency.

The museum complex also includes a unique sculpture, depicting a portrait of the famous political figure. A conference centre, cafe, craft shop and children's play area can also be found on the property.
