Netley Abbey ruins, Hampshire
England

The romantic ruins of Netley Abbey are the some of the most intact remains of a Cistercian monastery in England. Almost all the walls of its 13th century church survive, along with many monastic buildings. Following the Suppression of the Monasteries ordered by King Henry VIII in 1536, the buildings were converted into a Tudor mansion.
