The Byzantine Monastery of Panagia Chozoviotissa is located on a steep cliff, 300 m. above sea level, which overhangs the southeastern coast of the Chora of Amorgos. There is a stone-paved steps that climb on to the Monastery and are literally carved out of the rock and having a panoramic and breathtaking view of the Aegeon sea. Panagia Chozoviotissa is a wonderful product of the adoption of style and shape from the surrounding natural environment.
