The Pancake Rocks at the Dolomite Point near Punakaiki are a major tourist attraction. The rocks are columns of heavily eroded limestone, somewhat looking like stacks of pancakes. A nice winding walkway guides the tourists on a route along the rocks and some blowholes, where the sea water is blown out at high tide.
