Penmon Priory, Anglesey
Wales

The monastery was founded in the 6th century by Saint Seiriol, but none of the original building survives because of Viking raids. The church and the tower were built in the 12th century. The Dovecot, seen to the east of the church peaking through the trees, was built in the 16th century.
