Christiansholm fortress
Norway

The old Christiansholm fortress in Kristiansand, Norway, with some boats at sunset. It is located in the East Harbour of Kristiansand and was originally on a small island (holm = island/islet) in 1672. The little canal was later filled in. The fortress was restored and a roof was added, and it is now used for cultural events, concerts, exhibitions etc.
