Porto, Cathedral, yard, Facade, aerial view
Portugal

The Porto Cathedral is a building of Roman-Gothic structure, from the 12th and 13th centuries, having undergone major remodeling in the Baroque period (17th-18th centuries). The interior still retains the aspect of a fortress church, with battlements. It is worth mentioning the beautiful rosette (12th century) and the loggia or lateral galilee (1736), a work by Nicolau Nasoni, facing the city. Next to the doors are monumental sinks of holy water, from the late 17th century. Next to the 17th century baptismal font, there is a low relief by Teixeira Lopes (Pai).
