The Spinnerin (1725 m) is a secondary summit of the 1783 m high Schafberg in the Salzkammergut region, Salzburg, Austria. The Schafberg is a popular panoramic mountain with a magnificent view over the landscape and lakes of the Salzkammergut and an impressive, plunging north face. A cog railroad has been running to the top of the Schafberg since 1893, which is why the mountain is a popular tourist destination. Here, on the neighboring Spinnerin, it is more quiet.
