Serraia Lake - Baselga di Pinè
Trentino - Südtirol

Lake Serraia in the municipality of Baselga di Pine, 1250 feet long, 300-600 wide and 18 deep, is fed by small tributary and has a single outlet, the Rio Silla, which previously regulated the operation of some active sawmills along the rio.

The lake is teeming with fish, is located in a vast plain at a height of 974 meters asl the foot of Dosso Costalta (1955 mt sl.m.) and that of Ceramont (1514 mt sl.m.).
Always, and in all months of the year, Lake Serraia draws a considerable number of visitors and especially the walk Circumlacuale is popular because it runs flat and crowded woods, reeds and gently sloping lawns.
Winter its surface is covered entirely of ice.
The strip of cane which skirts the northern shore of Lake Serraia, and part of the same lake are part of the biotope "Marshes of Sternigo.
