St.Gereon Sankt Gereon Cologne Koeln

St. Gereon is a cathedral in Cologne, Germany which is named after Gereon, a leader of thebaick soldiers who may have died here. The romanesque church was built about 1000 years ago, finished 1191. Parts of this building were erected a little later. More information you can find here: www.romanische-kirchen-koeln.de. Opened dayly, admittance free of charge. Appropriate dressing is required, donations for maintanance of the artwork are welcome
