Sunset on Crowley Réservoir
California

Crowley reservoir is part of the depression left by Long Valley Caldera that formed 760,000 years ago. Today there are many hot springs and daily earth tremmors, the landscape is mostly hardened pyroclastic material including ash to form the vocanic tablelands made mostly of soft rock called Bishop Tuff. The reservoir is and the surrounding streams are popular with anglers.
