The summit of Teutonia Peak is a jumble of granite boulders
California
Teutonia Peak is a rocky outcrop on the smooth north slope of Cima Dome. Both are parts of a vast granite batholith. A storm was blowing in as we made this hike, with fierce wind gusts that made us glad of the shelter afforded by the boulders.
