The Underground Cavern of Llama Chaqui

The pre-Incan site of Llama Chaqui is located high up in the mountain about 20 km east of the village of Torotoro along a long winding road that doesn't seem to end.

The fort-like structure, making use of natural passages and caverns underneath is thought to serve a millatry purpose. Inside some of the walls contains ancient paintings that depict mostly foodstuff.

The view here is taken from a labyrinthine cavern about 1 km from the main structure.
