The White Cliffs of Dover, Kent
England

Known the world over, the natural wonder that is the White Cliffs of Dover have for centuries been symbolic of English independence and defiance against invaders from Europe.

Formed by chalk deposits over millions of years they were revealed as Britain formed into an island. The iconic landmark has since witnessed a Roman Invasion and been immortalised in art, literature and song.
