Vila Real, Aerial view Viaduct A24

The viaduct, the highest built in the country, rises south of the city of Vila Real, between Parada de Cunhos and Folhadela, which includes the bridge over the Corgo River, and had an investment of 85 million euros. With the entry into service of the viaduct, the Transmontana Highway, totaling 134 kilometers, was completed, as well as its highway connection between the IP4, in Vila Real, and the EN 122, in Spain.

Inaugurated in 2013 with the completion of 134 kilometers of Transmontana, the motorway connection between the IP4 in Vila Real and the EN 122 in Spain is completed.
