World Food Prize Hall of Laureates. Des Moines, Iowa. Sort of like Nobel prizes only for food. As in finding ways to feed poor and/or starving people in the world.

In 1970 Norman E. Borlaug from Iowa was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for a lifetime of work to feed a hungry world. The 'founders' of the World Food Prize are Mr. Borlaug and Mr. Ruan both from Iowa.
