Zollern castle, Balingen
Baden-Wuerttemberg

Balingen is a small town in southern Germany. There is a so called Zollernschloss (Castle of the Zollern) which was built in 1430 and renovated in 1935. It is now housing a museum and a youth hostel. The castle was built by the count of Zollern-Schalksburg and and its first use dates back to the 13th century but only in early 1400 the final castle was built.
