The Zwolsedijk dike runs along the Zwarte Water of the old Hansecity of Hasselt to Zwolle. The Overijsselse Vecht flows from North of Zwolle into the Black Water. The Overijsselse Vecht (De Vechte) is over 170 kilometers long and comes from the German Münsterland region. The Zwarte Water is a river originated from the Soestwetering and Nieuwe Wetering in Zwolle. The river flows along Hasselt, Genemuiden and Zwartsluis to the Zwarte Meer.
