The Archangel is a statue of a warrior angel made of recycled iron, 3.5 meters high. This warrior angel who lifts up above his head, the earth, which melts and destroys. It is located at the roundabout next to Praia do Farol in Vila Nova de Milfontes, Portugal. It constitutes an ecological appeal. A scream, an alert to the crumbling, melting planet. It is pain, anger and the desire to save the planet that has been degraded by the hand of humans, explains Aureliano de Aguiar, the author of this work.
