The Wide Aa is a recreation lake in the Zwolle district Aa-landen.
The lake was created by sand extraction for raising the district Aa-landen. The name derives from the river Aa. Originally the lake was smaller and was known as "De Kolk of Clear Light" to the same farm (since 1800) stands next to the lake.
