Some years ago, all dead material were instantly removed from the large park and forest, Dyrehave, north of Copenhagen.   leaving a nice impression with visitors - but there were not many habitats for insects, birds and fungi. But after an inquiry from nature organizations, you can now find life in the many dead trees around the park.
