St. Nicholas Cathedral was built in 1283 on the site of the former presbytery of the same name. The latter was first mentioned in 1177.

You can climb the 365 steps to the top of the 74 m high tower and discover the entire city. St. Nicholas Cathedral in Freiburg boasts a rich architectural setting.
