Russell is a town located in the Northland region of New Zealand and is known for its beautiful beaches. Some of the popular beaches near Russell include:

- Long Beach: This is a stunning white sand beach that's perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and relaxing. It's located just a short walk from Russell town and offers beautiful views of the Bay of Islands.

- Tapeka Beach: This is another popular beach near Russell that's great for swimming and water sports. It's located just a short drive from the town and offers plenty of parking and amenities.

- Oneroa Bay: This beach is located on the eastern side of Russell and offers beautiful views of the bay. It's a great spot for picnics, swimming, and sunbathing.
