Labrang monastery (夏河拉卜楞寺), Xiahe_Gansu, CN

Labrang Monastery is one of the six great monastery of the Gelugpa(Yellow Hat)school of Tibetan Buddhism. Labrang is located in Xiahe County, Gansu Province of northwest China, the traditiona Tibetan area of Amdo. Labrang Monastery is home to the largest number of monks outside of Tibet Autonomous Region. The monastery was founded in 1709 by the first Jamyang Zhaypa ,Ngawang Tsondru. 拉卜楞寺座落甘肅甘南藏族自治州夏河縣,是藏傳佛教格魯派6大寺院之一,自1709年創建至今,已發展出6大學院,是藏傳佛教格魯派最高學府。
