Tawonga Gap is the peak of a scenic winding route connecting the Ovens and Kiewa Valleys between Germantown and Bright. The original road was built in 1895 over 12 months by contractors using wheelbarrows, pick and shovel for 70 cents per day.
Victoria is Australia's second smallest State and covers only 3% of Australia's land area but has the second highest population of all States and Territories.
